It was wonderful to talk with AJ Chlebnik, Education Programs Manager at PAWS near Seattle, Washington. PAWS is a champion for animals - rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife, sheltering and adopting homeless cats and dogs, and educating people to make a better world for animals and people. PAWS envisions a world where all people recognize the intrinsic value of animals and consistently make choices that demonstrate compassion and respect. Listen to our latest episode of Connected Roots to learn about PAWS' remarkable education programs and what makes them so effective.
About our Guest:
AJ Chlebnik has been in the environmental education field for the last 13 years and has working in humane education for the last year and a half as the Education Programs Manager at PAWS. The best part of her job is being able to share the awesome work that PAWS is doing with kids and adults in the Pacific Northwest. She is the proud owner of a crazy cattle dog and a tortoiseshell cat that she acquired when she stowed away in a moving van. If she magically turned into an animal, she’s pretty sure she would be a golden retriever.
