Jessie Miller is an avid animal advocate who loves to write and educate. She has more than twenty years’ experience handling a wide range of pets and wildlife and is on the cutting edge of progressive change for the betterment of people and animals in our communities. She continues to work with various animal welfare groups nationwide including HSUS, Alley Cat Allies, Best Friends Animal Society, the Jacksonville Humane Society, and MSPCA. Jessie lives in Florida, where she spends her time either at the beach, running, writing, reading, or hanging out with her husband and rescued pets. That often includes dogs, cats, and other small critters like a rat or a guinea pig.
